     Would you like to be a part of the premier back to school event in Coastal Georgia? Heart of Benevolence Inc. and Inside-Out (INSO) are teaming up for the 4th annual Rock the Books 2020 "COVID-19 EDITION." Rock the Books is an annual fun filled event where children celebrate education, reading literacy and the upcoming school year. At Rock the Books we promote reading literacy and get children excited and encouraged to read more. There will be games, entertainment, food trucks, and other exciting activities throughout the day. We will also distribute free backpacks and schools supplies to children in the community. Your tax-deductible donation is needed to make Rock the Books 2019 a success. Our goal is to continue not having to turn any children away and offer quality backpacks and school supplies to as many children as needed, not only at the event but throughout the school year as well. 

     In the last 2 years there have been no children turned away, due to generous contributions from community partners like you. We have been able to distribute backpacks and school supplies to over 2,000 students including children within The Methodist Home for Children & Youth, DFACS, CASA and Safe Harbor Children’s shelter. Our students range from many areas of NE FL and SE GA including, Camden, Charleston, Nassau and Duval counties. In addition, we have worked with various schools in the area to continuously distribute backpacks and supplies to children in need and teachers throughout the school years.

     The 3rd annual Rock the Books event will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 12pm-4pm! We would like to invite you to partner with us to enrich the lives of youth in our community for the 2019-2020 school year. We are proud to announce that for 2019 we will introduce our Tokens for Teachers program, where we provided teachers with school supplies as well. We will also distribute our first Camden Community Service Award scholarship to a student who has shown leadership in areas of academic and community service excellence.

     We have attached some specific sponsorship levels but we are willing to negotiate sponsorship packages and accept all donations. We have also attached list of school supply needs along with donation needs in lieu of cash (promotional marketing items accepted for school supplies). Please consider how you would like to support the event. The enclosed information describes each level of support and the benefits to your business at each level. Please visit HeartofB.org to fill out for sponsorship or fill out the support form attached with this letter and return it to Heart of Benevolence Inc. office at 178 Natures Dr., Saint Marys GA 31558 by May 1, 2019. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with you to help students in our community start the year off right!
