2020 GLOW Up: Suicide Awareness Event & 5k

What exactly is the GLOW Up, you ask?

The GLOW Up is a fun informative event to bring awareness about the issue of suicide in our community and resources to those that need it. The event includes:

  • A panel discussion targeted to answering questions from teens about suicide and coping mechanisms.
  • Comedian Keith Deltano will host the Anti-bullying Assembly.
  • Pre-warmup sessions hosted by Camp Gladiator and Fiesta Fitness.
  • 5K Glow run- Once night falls, the race will begin through downtown Saint Marys, on a fun lighted path.
  • GLOW after party in Saint Marys waterfront park hosted by 93.3's DJ Dr. Doom

During the event, we hope to have as many Mental health, children's clubs and community partners available as possible to provide resources for those in need. We are also looking for food and sales vendors to participate. 

Just added, Keith Deltano will host a Parent Seminar brunch prior to the event where he will give a seminar to parents on how to keep their children safe from bullying and what to do if their child suffers from suicidal thoughts.

You won't want to miss being part of this exciting event that is truly a need for our community. Funds raised from the race will be used to help fund mental health resources for those who can not afford them. Please consider sponsoring and/or becoming involved in this worthwhile event.
